Scheduling an Appointment

• For appointments, call Silver Linings at Old Bridge, starting Jan. 2:

  Monday – Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm only
  Do not leave a voicemail
• Patrons should have the following ready when scheduling:
  • name
  • phone number
  • email address
• 1 appointment per person/joint return
• You must bring the following to your appointment:
  • government issued photo ID
  • SS card or ITIN documentation
  • previous year tax return
• Joint returns require both individuals to be present and have ID
• Patrons do not receive a confirmation or reminder notice about their appointment
• Appointments are only available for NJ and Federal returns only. No appointments for out of state returns will be honored.

Tax-Aide Volunteers are certified to do most returns, but there are some they cannot do.
Examples: income from rental properties, certain types of self-employment income, foreign income and asset reporting, out of state income (NY, PA), part-year NJ residents.

Options for obtaining IRS Tax Forms and Instructions

1. Click here to access printable forms on the IRS website.  Some forms must be obtained directly from the IRS. Call 1-800-829-1040.
2. Order tax forms and instructions/publications by phone:1-800-829-3676
3. You can send your documents to us for printing. All you have to do is upload your document to https://oldbridgelibrary.org/print or send your file as an attachment to obpl-bw@printspots.com (for black and white) or obpl-color@printspots.com (for color), and come to print out your item during library hours. Black and white print outs are .15 cents each and color print outs are .25 cents each.

New Jersey

The State of New Jersey is no longer distributing tax forms or instruction booklets to libraries or Post Offices. We realize that this may be an inconvenience for many of you who are used to picking them up here.

Options for obtaining NJ Tax Forms and Instructions:

1. Click here to print online.
2. You can send your documents to us for printing. All you have to do is upload your document to https://oldbridgelibrary.org/print or send your file as an attachment to obpl-bw@printspots.com (for black and white) or obpl-color@printspots.com (for color), and come to print out your item during library hours. Black and white print outs are .15 cents each and color print outs are .25 cents each.

4. Order 24 hours a day using NJ TaxFax: Call 609-826-4500 from your fax machine and enter the number of the form required.
