By joining the Friends, you can help support your library. Money raised by the Friends goes to support concerts, workshops, the children’s summer reading group and other fantastic programs. We maintain an ongoing booksale and a large annual book sale.
Joining the Friends is easy! Click here for the online application. When visiting the Library feel free to leave your name and phone number at the circulation desk and a friend will contact you with more information.

Donation hours
Please be aware that donations are only accepted during specific times.
- Tuesdays from 6pm-8pm
- Thursdays from 11am-1pm
We appreciate you holding onto your donations until those windows.
Ways you can help the Friends
Here are some things that Friends help with: sorting donated books, stocking the Book Sale Room, working a table at the Book Sale(s), Purchasing snacks for Library programs, hosting Library programs with a Library staff member, and serving on the Friends’ Board.
Benefits of becoming a Friend
- As a member of the Friends, you will: Receive advance notice of any book sales and special events.
- Be invited to a special preview night of our Annual Book Sale complete with free refreshments!
Friends Ongoing Book Sale
The Friends accept book, CD and DVD donations which are then sold to the public through their various book sales. Materials must be in good condition. Please note, we can not accept the following:
- Encyclopedias
- Stained or water damaged books
- VHS Tapes
- Books with broken spines or ripped pages
- Yellowed or Mildewed books
