Old Bridge, NJMay 3, 2018 – Those interested in planning a vacation, improving their personal photos and videos or exploring Pinterest should attend the following helpful workshops hosted by The Old Bridge Public Library: 

Vacation and Travel Apps:  Tuesday, May 8th at 7pm

This session will examine new travel apps that make vacation planning easy. Regardless of the destination, these iOS and Android apps can help with transportation, lodging options and finding popular and/or unique activities.  

Video Editing Basics:  Tuesday, May 15th at 7pm

This class will teach the fundamentals of video editing with Adobe Premiere Elements. Basic effects and editing terminology will be covered, as will other video editing software options. The Library has a limited number of Adobe Premiere Elements licenses. The first three registrants will work directly with the software during class; others are welcome to observe.

Pinterest class:  Wednesday, May 23rd at 11am

Pinterest is a simple, online way to organize images, projects, ideas and favorites. This class will explain how to open an account, create boards and begin pinning.  Attendees will learn how to install the “Pin It” button, how to find pins in particular categories, or follow other pinners.

Photoshop Basics:  Wednesday, May 30th at 7pm

This workshop is geared for those who wish to improve their photographs, as it explores the basics of photo editing with Adobe Photoshop Elements. The session will cover simple techniques and editing terminology, as well as other photo editing software options. Since the Library has a limited number of Adobe Photoshop Elements licenses, the first three registrants will work directly with the software during class; others are welcome to observe. Students are welcome to bring their own laptop with photo editing software to class.
