Old Bridge, NJ – Nov. 6, 2018 – This month, Old Bridge Library patrons will have the opportunity to learn about NJ shipwrecks, participate in some adult gaming and enjoy a Barbra Streisand concert on its advanced screening system.
Famous Shipwrecks of NJ: Thursday, Nov. 15th @7pm. Dan Lieb from the New Jersey Historical Divers Association will explore 200 years of Jersey Shore shipwreck and maritime history. Attendees will learn about the buried treasures that lie beneath the famous NJ shoreline. A question and answer session with the audience will follow the presentation.
Adult Gamers Club: Saturday, Nov. 24th @2pm. This new club was created for adults 18+ who enjoy gaming. Adults can drop in anytime between 2pm-4:30pm for an afternoon of video and board games. Gamers are also welcome to bring their own games to share.
Barbra Streisand: One Night Only: Sunday, Nov. 25th @2pm. This special concert film features Barbra Streisand live at the Village Vanguard, New York’s legendary jazz club. In September 2009, 48 years after her last club performance, a select group of fans and friends had the rare opportunity to experience Barbra in this ultimate up-close-and-personal setting. Accompanied only by piano, bass, guitar and drums, this is the artist at her most intimate. The concert will be screened via Qello Concerts, the world’s largest collection of full-length concerts and music documentaries, which can be streamed on-demand to digital devices.
