Old Bridge, NJ – Dec. 21, 2018 – The Old Bridge Public Library’s first Second Saturday Concert in the new year will feature the popular “Re-MemberThen” Acapella DooWop group, performing on Saturday, January 12th at 2:30pm.

Founded over eight years ago, the five-person acapella group consists of Frank Cicerale, Marty Geliebter, Bill Butkowski, Mike DelFranco and Sal Contrino. They have performed at many high-profile events, including the Philadelphia DooWop Festival at Penn’s Landing, PA, and at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park for radio producer/host T.J. Lubinsky’s PBS Special entitled “The Next DooWop Generation.” Part 1 of the Special aired in 2018, and Part 2 will air in 2019.  In addition to opening for Larry Chance and The Earls at Boonton High School, they also sang on The DooWop Drive radio show hosted by Alan David Stein on WMTR AM.  The group won Don K. Reed’s Acapella Sing-Off which entitled them to open at the Richard Nader Concert at the IZOD Center in the Meadowlands in 2012 and 2014.  Re-RememberThen has performed several times at Lead East, The World’s Biggest Oldies Festival, as well as at the Acapella Trilogy in 2016, 2017 and 2018 at the Pollak Theatre at Monmouth University. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable, unexpired donation for the Old Bridge Food Pantry to this free event.

The Old Bridge Public Library has consistently been voted one of the three Best Public Libraries in Middlesex County by the readers of the Home News Tribune.
