Old Bridge, NJ – Sept. 13, 2018 – The Old Bridge Public Library will host special programs in October celebrating the classic novel, Little Women, and the role of astrology in one’s life. All Library programs are free and open to the public and registration is not required for these sessions.

Happy Birthday, Little Women: Mon. Oct. 1st @2pm. In recognition of the 150th anniversary of the publication of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel, the Library will celebrate the famous literary March Sisters — Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy.  The program will feature a 1860s theme, with appropriate games, crafting and light refreshments.

Find Meaning with Astrology: Wed. Oct. 3rd at 7pm. The meaning of life is an individual question to ponder, but how can one make sense of how exciting or dull, happy or sad, predictable or random their existence is? This session will explore how astrology may be a key indicator, and will tap into its vast richness of pragmatic and spiritual insights to connect the dots by examining the essence of astrology.  The program will be led by Dr. Sesh (Seshadri Venugopal) who has a Ph.D. in Computer Science, and is a faculty member at Rutgers University. He has studied and practiced the Western and Indian systems of astrology for over 25 years, and has built a horoscope interpretation program for his consulting practice and personal use.
