Old Bridge, NJ — July 21, 2016 – Popular local band The Wag will return to the Old Bridge Public Library on Sat. Aug. 13th at 2:30pm as part of the Library’s Second Saturday Concert Series.
An upbeat four-piece band based in Middletown, NJ, The Wag’s unique style varies from blues to pop to rock, and features three alternating lead singers, resulting in a different feel to every song. After over 15 years of performing at clubs, theaters and festivals, the band has enjoyed local success on radio and television, as well as opening for national acts. The Wag recently added an acoustic set to their repertoire, further diversifying their sound and reaching a larger audience. Their latest CD is entitled Continuum and features band members Brian Ostering (bass and vocals), Alicia Van Sant (keyboards, vocals, percussion), Don Lee (guitar and vocals) and Arielle Strauss (bongos.)
The concert is free and open to the public but attendees are requested to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Old Bridge Food Pantry, and/or items for a school supply drive to benefit children in need in the community.
