Old Bridge, NJ – Nov. 7, 2019 – Love trivia? Interested in art lessons? The Old Bridge Public Library will host special trivia and watercolor painting sessions for adults this month, along with its monthly Socratic discussion group.
Adult Trivia: Wed. Nov. 13th at 7pm: The Library’s popular trivia program returns, featuring a fun night of trivia, snacks and prizes in a game show atmosphere. Players can form their own team of up to six players, or be placed on a wild-card team once they arrive. No registration necessary; open to adults 18 and over.
Watercolor Painting Class: Mon. Nov. 18th at 11am. Local artist Stephanie Sommerlad Bello will lead this session, helping to guide aspiring artists on how to understand and develop the skills and techniques necessary to enjoy and succeed at watercolor painting. No previous art experience is necessary. All materials will be supplied, and registration is required by calling 732-721-5600 x5033 or online at www.oldbridgelibrary.org. Open to adults 18 and older.
Socrates Café: Thurs. Nov. 21st at 11am: This lively monthly discussion group exchanges thoughtful ideas and experiences. It embraces the central theme of Socratizing, the notion that learning is enhanced by questioning amongst ourselves and others. This month’s topic is: “Socialism vs. Capitalism.” All are welcome.
