Old Bridge, NJ – July 12, 2016 – Tying in with the summer reading themes, the Old Bridge Public Library is hosting a summer reading photography contest open to children and adults.
Photos must reflect the following age-appropriate summer reading themes: “On Your Mark. Get Set…Read!” (children); “Get in the Game. Read” (teens); and “Exercise Your Mind.” (adults). Entries must be no larger than 8x10inches and should include a brief explanation of how the photo ties into the themes. No more than two submissions per person will be accepted, and pictures must be unframed. Submissions will be accepted until August 15th.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: ages 12 and under; ages 13-17 and ages 18 and up. All photos must have the photographer’s name, age or age category and phone number on back of the submissions. All entries should be brought to the Library’s Information or Children’s desk or mailed to: Marcy Kagan, Old Bridge Public Library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza, Old Bridge, NJ 08857.
The Old Bridge Public Library was recently voted “Best Public Library in Middlesex County” by the readers of the Home News Tribune.
