Old Bridge, NJ – Jan. 28, 2019 – The new 1040 and the popular Pick 6 will be the topics at upcoming programs at the Old Bridge Public Library. Details follow:
IRS Form 1040: The One Form to Rule Them All: Thurs. February 7 at 7pm.
Morganville, NJ- based tax professional Richard G. Price will speak about the new tax form 1040 and schedules, and explain how the new laws affect taxpayers. Price is a Certified Public Accountant and tax attorney with more than 40 years of experience. He received his MBA from Pace University, and his law degrees from New York Law School and NYU. Topics covered will include: new tax rates and deductions, child care credit, alimony rules and rules for education savings accounts. A question and answer session will follow.
Where the Money Goes: Wed. February 13 at 2pm. A representative from the New Jersey Lottery will explain where the money goes when a lottery ticket is bought. The overview will examine how the state Lottery benefits education and institutions, and will discuss revenue recipients and community outreach programs. There will also be a Q&A period, and some interesting and amusing stories about lottery games, retailers and winners.
