Old Bridge, NJ – June 20, 2016 – The Old Bridge Public Library is expanding its digital resources by now offering card holders free instant access to hoopla to download digital movies, music, and eBooks 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
With thousands of movies, complete music albums, audiobooks and more, hoopla is a comprehensive digital service made available through the Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium (lmxac), of which the Old Bridge Public Library is a member.
Hoopla selections range from Hollywood blockbusters to best-selling artists and authors as well as niche and hard-to-find selections. The service allows patrons the freedom to experience, explore and enjoy what they want, when they want, and where they want.
Easy to access and use, with the added convenience of not having to return the borrowed items, users simply need a library card, a web browser, and a smart phone or tablet to get started. Patrons are eligible to receive up to five free downloads per month by logging onto www.oldbridgelibrary.org and clicking the hoopla graphic on the home page.
“Hoopla is a fantastic digital download service that will give our patrons the ability to have a wide array of both popular and obscure music, movies and books instantly accessible,” noted Library Director Nancy Cohen. “It is another example of the breadth of digital services we provide our patrons.”
The Old Bridge Public Library was recently voted “Best Public Library in Middlesex County” by the readers of the Home News Tribune.
