Old Bridge, NJ – March 9, 2018 – The Old Bridge Public Library will present a special “Braille Tales” storytime on Friday, March 16th at 7pm.
The program will focus on visually impaired and braille literacy. A special guest will read stories in braille, and braille books will be on display and available for check out. The session is geared for families and no registration is necessary. The Old Bridge Library is one of the few area libraries that offer a lending collection of children’s braille books. The 25-piece collection features titles from popular authors such as Marc Brown (Arthur series), Tomie de Paola, Mercer Mayer (Little Critters series) Peggy Parish (Amelia Bedelia series) and H.A. Rey (Curious George series).
The Old Bridge Public Library has consistently been voted one of the three Best Public Libraries in Middlesex County by the readers of the Home News Tribune. The Library is open seven-days-a-week and is located at 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Rt. 516 and Cottrell Road in the Municipal Center.
