Old Bridge, NJ – Nov. 1, 2018 – The Old Bridge Public Library will welcome the Libby Richman Jazz Ensemble on Saturday, November 10th at 2:30pm.

As part of the Second Saturday Concert Series, the performance will feature an ensemble of bass, keyboards, tenor sax and drums playing original contemporary jazz. Ms. Richman’s musical influences include Classical, Latin, and current music. This program will include smooth jazz and original music from her recent CD “Open Strings” which includes “Groovin’ High” by Dizzy Gillespie, “Autumn Leaves,” Cherokee,” the blues and more. Ms. Richman has performed with jazz luminaries Lou Donaldson, guitarist John Hart, Cameron Brown, Virginia Mayhew and drummer Sylvia Cuenca. As a side musician she has played with Leslie Gore, Martha Reeves, The Shirelles, the Earls and The Duprees.  Joining Ms. Richman on alto sax will be John Philpott (tenor sax), Hiroshi Yamazaki (keyboard), Dave Croce (bass) and Alan Bates (drums).

Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable, unexpired donation for the Old Bridge Food Pantry to this free event.
