Old Bridge, NJ –  Feb. 27, 2020 – Celtic tunes and American jazz standards will be performed at the Old Bridge Library in March. The following free concerts are scheduled:

Ellen LaFurn: Saturday, March 14th @2:30pm. The Library’s Second Saturday Concert Series will feature jazz vocalist Ellen LaFurn, whose performance will feature standards from the Great American songbook and jazz favorites. LaFurn is a veteran vocalist who has performed with many jazz legends, including Roland Hanna, Gus Johnson and Danny Gibson. More information is available at: www.ellenlafurn.com. The concert is being co-sponsored by Gary Matoren in memory of his daughter Debbie Lynn Matoren.

Celtic Music with Ian Gallagher: Sunday, March 22nd @2pm. Accomplished vocalist and guitarist Ian Gallagher will perform traditional and beloved Celtic Irish music.  Gallagher fully embraces his Irish roots, and usually has audiences singing and dancing along to Celtic favorites during his interactive concerts. He will also discuss the history of Ireland and provide information about the songs being performed.

Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable, unexpired item(s) for the Old Bridge Food Bank to these events.

The Old Bridge Public Library has consistently been voted one of the three Best Public Libraries in Middlesex County by the readers of the Home News Tribune.
