Old Bridge, NJ – Oct. 2, 2018 – Old Bridge Public Library Digital Resources cards are now available for purchase for patrons who currently have a library card issued through a library which is a member of the Libraries of Middlesex Automation Consortium (LMxAC), other than the Old Bridge Public Library. (Old Bridge Library cardholders already have free access to these digital resources.)
For a yearly fee of $75, LMxAC cardholders may remotely access many of the Old Bridge Library’s array of valuable digital resources from any personal device. These resources include:
Kanopy: Created for film lovers, this site offers over 30,000 documentaries, art house and independent films that can be easily downloaded. Additionally, over 600 lectures from The Great Courses are also available, in many subjects ranging from history to math to religion.
Qello Concerts: This resource features the world’s largest collection of full-length concerts and music documentaries (over 1,700) which can be streamed on-demand to nearly any digital device. Its catalogue spans over 30 genres, from classical to rock, reggae to country.
Heritage Quest: This site contains genealogical and historical sources for more than 60 countries, dating back to the 1700s. It offers birth, baptism, marriage, death, cemetery and Census records from more than one billion names worldwide. There are also local and family histories, convenient research guides, and interactive census maps.
Tutor.com: In addition to 24- hour online resources such as worksheets and quizzes, live professional tutors are available from 4-11pm seven days a week. Help is available for elementary school level classes through advanced high school courses, as well as SAT and ACT prep.
Lynda.com: This leading learning platform offers instruction in business, software, technology and creative skills through a library of over 130,000 engaging, high-quality videos and 4,500 courses taught by recognized industry experts. Classes are offered in web design, photography, animation, audio/visual, computer programming, marketing, project management, software development and applications.
Learning Express: This resource features nearly 1,000 online tutorials, practice tests, and eBooks to help students of all ages. It offers job search and workplace skills improvement, skill building in reading, writing, math, and basic science, career certification and licensure exam prep, college and grad school entrance test prep and GED® test prep.

The Library unconditionally reserves the right to alter access at any time to any digital resources which are offered to Digital Resources Only Cardholders. Shared LMxAC digital resources unavailable to Digital Resources Only Cardholders include, but are not limited to, Hoopla, Zinio and eLibraryNJ.
The Old Bridge Public Library has consistently been voted one of the three Best Public Libraries in Middlesex County by the readers of the Home News Tribune.
