Old Bridge, NJ –  August 2, 2019 – The Old Bridge Public Library will host specialty programming in areas ranging from astronomy to real estate to financial management this August. Registration is not required for any of the sessions.

Money Savvy You: Thursday, August 8th @7:30pm. This session will explore financial skills and explain how expenses, debts, savings, and current income flows affect personal finances. Attendees will come away with an understanding of the importance of setting short term objectives and how long term objectives will shape a strategic financial plan.  Presenter Monica Tewari, a financial advisor with MVT Strategy Advisors, has over 20 years of experience in the financial marketplace. She will provide useful, fundamental tips on how to live a financially balanced life.

Astronomy: The Sky By Day and By Night: Monday, August 12th @7pm. Jim Peck, a member of the Amateur Astronomers Association of Princeton (AAAP), will present a lecture on observing and understanding the sky, both at night and during the day. He will discuss relative distances of celestial objects, constellations, the moon, artificial satellites and tracking the path of the sun throughout the year.

Everything Real Estate: Tips and Hints: Tuesday, August 20th @7pm. This program will provide a comprehensive overview of the current real estate market. Local realtor Susan McCann and Real Estate Attorney Meryl Polcari will discuss strategies for home selling and buying and will answer questions from the audience.

The Old Bridge Public Library has consistently been voted one of the three Best Public Libraries in Middlesex County by the readers of the Home News Tribune.
