AARP Foundation Tax-Aide: Free Tax Preparation

For low and moderate-income taxpayers of any age with special attention given to seniors 60 and over.

Mondays & Thursdays, Feb. 1 – April 11

10:15 am – 2:15 pm

Location: Old Bridge Public Library, large meeting room

Provide your name, phone #, and, if available, email when reaching out.

While AARP is certified to do most returns, there are some cases they cannot do.  Examples: income from rental properties, certain types of self-employment income, foreign asset reporting, out of state income (NY, PA), part-time NJ residents.

Please bring the following you to your appointment:

  • Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License)
  • Social Security Card or ITIN letter for all individuals to be listed on the return (no photocopies)
  • All 2023 tax forms (W-2, 1099, SSA-1099, etc.)
  • Voided blank check for direct deposits
  • Health care coverage info (1095-A, B, C)
  • Tuition statements (1098-T,) if applicable
  • Deductions documentation for property taxes, medical, charitable contributions, etc. (if applicable)
  • Your 2022 Tax Return and all associated documents.
