Q&A With Fabian Nicieza, Author of “The Self-Made Widow” – Zoom Event

Join us for a virtual Q&A with author Fabian Nicieza, as we discuss his new novel, The Self-Made Widow

Nicieza is best known as a comic book writer for Marvel and DC, and as the co-creator of Deadpool.  With over 100 million comics sold over thirty years, he has also written X-Men, X-Force, New Warriors, Cable, Thunderbolts, and many more. He developed the story world and created the characters for the 2021 animated series, Stan Lee’s Superhero Kindergarten.

Suburban Dicks, Nicieza’s debut novel, was published by Penguin Putnam in 2021 and was nominated by the Mystery Writers of America for an Edgar Award in the “Best First Novel By An American Author” category. The book has also been optioned for television development.

His novel, The Self-Made Widow, second in this series, comes out on June 21st, 2022.  The Self-Made Widow is a diabolically funny murder mystery that features two unlikely sleuths investigating a murder that reveals the dark underbelly of suburban marriage.

Fabian lived in Old Bridge from 1973-1988, graduated from Madison Central High School in 1979, and attended Rutgers University.
