This in-person program will provide details and images on:
- lighthouse history, structure, and characteristics
- lighthouse keepers, governance, and purpose
- how weather affects lighthouses
- the beacons and keepers of New Jersey
Come listen to a fascinating presentation and learn more about these icons of the Jersey shore! This program will take place in the large meeting room and is open to the public.

The New Jersey Lighthouse Society is an all-volunteer 501(c) (3) organization based in New Jersey with members from around the United States. This group supports and promotes the restoration and preservation of lighthouses, in addition to educating and informing the public about lighthouses.
