“We are happy to welcome these community leaders to the Library during our popular Summer Reading Program,” noted Youth Services Supervisor Pham Condello.  “It not only creates excitement amongst our patrons but helps reinforce the importance of early literacy initiatives within the community.”

With the theme of “Build a Better World,” this year’s Summer Reading Program focuses on STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) activities, including a series of Finch robotics classes.  The benefits of summer reading are well documented, and the Library has developed an engaging program that allows children to enhance and grow stronger reading and critical thinking skills. The program will conclude on Sat. August 19th with a culmination event at the Library.
