Wellness Initiative for Senior Education (WISE)

The WISE Program is a wellness and prevention program for older adults, designed to help them celebrate healthy aging, make healthy lifestyle choices and avoid substance abuse. It provides valuable educational services to older adults on topics including nutrition and exercise, medication use, stress management, depression and substance abuse.
The WISE program offers six lessons that cover a wide range of topics:
• Healthy aging
• Unhealthy behaviors to avoid
• Safe use of medications
• Tools to help you take charge of your health
This is a six-week series with programs being held on the following Mondays: 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7, 10/14, and 10/21.
Registration required. Refreshments will be provided at each session.
